MAB is a full−service facilities management company in the MENA region and are widely renowned for offering the best in−class services and the highest international facilities management standards, technologies and talent.

Due to the UAE’s harsh environment, an issue that all facility management companies face is the fading and deterioration of exposed natural timber. One such issue that MAB faced was their outdoor wooden planter boxes.

Previously, the planter boxes were treated teak oil only. However, due to the irrigation water been applied to the planter boxes daily, the Teak was beginning to fade after 5-10 days, leaving them looking dull and more importantly, susceptible to rot due to not been protected.

Application & Results

Timber Seal is applied by spraying timber seal on the wood with a hand held pressure dispenser. Using a lambs wool applicator, it is then rubbed into the wood to give it the matte finish.

Rejuveniated the aestethics of the wooden planter boxes across the property.

Reduced the repainting of the wooden planter boxes from 17 times yearly to 4 times yearly.
